Quail Creek’s “Rally for the Cure” is just around the corner

Terri Erickson

This event combines the efforts of the 9 and 18 hole women’s golf clubs to honor survivors of cancer, to increase awareness of breast health and breast cancer, to help raise money to find a cure for cancer in conjunction with the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and to provide a fun day of golf, raffle and lunch for their members and residents of Quail Creek.

This year’s theme is Hana Pu, which is Hawaiian for working together. All participants will be encouraged to dress in Hawaiian attire.

Look for the signups in the Pro Shop. Participants may sign up for a four member team 18 hole golf competition, a 9 hole fun golf event, or just the luncheon and raffle. Survivors of cancer will be honored during the luncheon program. There is also an opportunity to sponsor a hole on the golf course in honor of a survivor or loved one.

A good time will be had by all for a very worthy cause; be sure to check it out!
