The QCLGA, the 18 hole club, celebrated the end of another great year with their annual Holiday Awards Luncheon on December 17. President Gail Phillips began by welcoming all and thanking her executive board and all volunteers for a great year. She then presented two trophies to the club’s super star Karen Stensrud who won both the President’s Cup and Club Champion. Vice President Kathy Stotz said a few words about the clever centerpieces and special photo corner and thanked her husband Greg for all his work.

Nancy Hoppe presented Mary Lynne Fischer with the Most Improved Golfer of the Year award. Laura Colbert and her reindeer helpers Bessie Moretto and Joann Salazar presented awards to the women with the most holes-in-one, eagles and chip-ins. Topping it all off were presentations to ten women in each of five reindeer flights for the most gross and net ringers.

All the while the ladies enjoyed a fine lunch presented by Eppi and her crew at the Madera Clubhouse.
