The Quail Creek Ballroom Dance Club continues to enjoy the styles and food of award winning restaurants around the world at our monthly dinner/dances. On January 21, club members and guests dined at Apsleys Restaurant in London, England, experiencing outstanding Mediterranean inspired cuisine while enjoying the sounds of the Lonny Lynn Orchestra.

The club’s next event is scheduled in the Crystal Ballroom at the Madera Clubhouse on Wednesday, February 18, when we will travel to Cape Town, South Africa, to experience the cuisine of The Round House and Rumbullion Restaurant. For hundreds of years, the terraces at The Roundhouse have affectionately been dubbed The Rumbullion, which is an archaic English term for a riotous good time that is recreated in the incredible outdoor setting. Menu choices include seared duck breast or beef tenderloin with a delectable dessert of spiced cake and raspberry sauce. The Jan Garber Orchestra will provide dance music for this special evening.

Non-members are welcome to join club members in socializing with friends and neighbors, enjoying a wonderful gourmet meal and listening to big band music. If you would like to attend our February dance as a guest, please contact Justine Lewis at 399-4646 or [email protected]. Memberships are also still available for the remaining dances this season.
