Twenty-six golfers from the Quail Creek Ladies Golf Association joined 34 Lady Putters for a challenge between the two groups on the putting green.

The first place team with a low gross score of 158 included Linda Weissman, Kris Weinberg, Cathy Leary and Lynda Pilcher. Determining the second place team was a challenge since there were three teams with a low gross of 162. After completing the tie-breaker holes, Diana Paul, Kathy Stotz, Patti Jackson and Diane Turner were declared the winners. Each received $10.

Recognized for the low individual gross score with a 37 were golfers Sherry Ameling and Barbara Haley. Putters Jeanne Hostetler and Lynda Pilcher both scored a 36. The 18-hole group really showed up the Putters when they had a six-way tie for Holes-in-One. Gail Phillips, Barbara Haley, Sherry Ameling, Judy Murray, Chris Gould and Susan Kuehn each got five. Putter Jeanne Hostetler had four Holes-in-One.

Before hitting the putting green the ladies enjoyed a continental breakfast featuring an assortment of Danish pastries and muffins along with a fruit platter and coffee.
