The efforts of a few dedicated Quail Creek women led to a substantial gift to local youth in need. Working to support The Women of Quail Creek, several members and non-members handmade over 200 Perfect Wraps which were sold to raise funds for Youth on Their Own (YOTO). One of the primary missions of YOTO is to provide educational, life skills and career planning support to homeless youth in southern Arizona.

At TWOQC’s holiday luncheon on December 12, YOTO was given a check for $3500, the proceeds of wrap sales. This gift would not have been possible without the brainstorm of SueAnn Obremski who initiated the Perfect Wrap idea. TWOQC is grateful for SueAnn’s many helpers: Sandi Beach, Pat Bencic, Eileen Dittl, Debbie Huber, Deb Migdalski, Carol Mutter and Lynda Rivard who spent many hours sewing and readying wraps for sale. Their efforts will truly benefit a great cause.
