The tenth annual Quail Creek 5k Run/Fun Walk and 2k Fun Walk benefiting the Community Food Bank of Green Valley/Sahuarita and the Animal League of Green Valley will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2014.
Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Rita Mountains just 25 minutes south of Tucson, the Quail Creek Resort Community invites you to participate in the 5K Run, 5K Fun Walk or 2K Dog Walk at 2045 E. Quail Crossing Boulevard in Green Valley, Arizona 85614.
Awards for the 5k Run will be first place for Overall Male and Female, first place Overall Male and Female Masters over 40 and first, second and third place Male and Female per age division. Registration on the day of the race will be from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. with packet pick up from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Warm up will be from 8:45 to 9:00 a.m.
The 5k Run/Walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the 2k Walk will start at 9:10 a.m.
Registration fee includes race entry and tee shirt.
Advance registration fees are $15.00 for age 10 to 19 and $20.00 for age 20 and over; fees are $25.00 on the day of race. Children under 10 and dogs are free!
Dogs are permitted on the 2k Walk only. Dogs must be leashed during entire event with leashes no longer than six feet. Rabies vaccines must be current and only one dog per walker.
Event officials reserve the right to refuse aggressive dogs.
Please clean up after your pet.
Important dates: February 20, online registration ends. February 21 you may pick up packets at the Madera Clubhouse from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. February 22 is race day!
