January 12 could be your lucky day – Computer Club’s Open House

Staff in the Computer Lab may be able to help with computer questions during the Open House.

Door prizes valued at nearly $1,500 will be awarded to ten lucky winners on January 12 at the Computer Club’s seventh annual Open House. Tickets for the door prize drawing are available at the open house to those who were members during 2018 or have already joined for the 2019 calendar year. The open house will be held at the Creative Arts and Technology Building between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on January 12. You must come to the open house to get your ticket but do not need to be present to win. (Those with last names between A and M should plan to arrive between 10:00 a.m. and noon; N through Z, noon to 2:00 p.m. One ticket per household.)

This year’s door prizes include a 9.7-inch iPad, a Kindle Paperwhite e-Reader, a Ring Doorbell security system, an Echo Show personal assistant, and $200 worth of Amazon gift cards and other useful items. For a sneak peek, come see the door prizes on display in the CATC hallway during the month of December and in early January.

If you have questions about the benefits of membership in the club, just ask any of our 470 members. They will tell you it is arguably Quail Creek’s greatest bargain. For only $20 per calendar year for one person or household, members can take as many classes as they like. In addition, they can bring their computer-related questions and problems to one of several monthly open lab sessions, where one-on-one help from well-qualified instructors is available, all at no additional cost.

For more information on benefits of membership, visit our website: www.quailcreekcomputerclub.org. If you are ready to join now (or are renewing for 2019), click on the website’s Account tab and follow the prompts. Otherwise, plan to join (or rejoin) during the open house. (Dues are payable by cash or check only. Make checks payable to QCCC.)

Better yet, plan to come to the open house, meet our board members and instructors and see if membership is something that will add value to your increasingly technical lifestyle.
