General Manager’s Report

Who all recalls the catchy TV advertisement by Southwest Airlines that enticed you to travel with them? Their commercials ended with the coined phrase “wanna get away?” I know for many of our Quail Creek homeowners, this statement rings true as you prepare for your upcoming travels, whether it be to head back home for the summer months, take a long and overdue vacation, head up north to our beautiful Arizona high country, or maybe just get away to see friends and family. Whatever the reason, not only do I wish you safe travels, but I’d like to offer a few reminders to you as you prepare to get away.

If your trip will be for seven days or more, please be sure to fill out a vacation watch form, as Quail Creek proudly offers a vacation watch program. We will, at no charge, stop by your home a minimum of twice per month until you return in order to make sure your doors are secure, there are no irrigation leaks, and nothing looks out of the ordinary. If anything significant is noted during our visit, one of our professional roving patrol team members will contact you or your caregiver to provide a follow-up report. Registering for this service can be done by logging in to the POA website, then visiting QC Info, then Forms, and finally Vacation Watch Form. If you prefer, you may also stop by the Member Services desk at the Madera Clubhouse for assistance.

Each month, a complimentary copy of the Quail Creek Crossing newspaper is delivered to your home. For those times you are away from Quail Creek for more than 60 days, I’d like to suggest that you contact Robson Publishing directly at 480-895-4216 to stop or start service. Another option is to have the newspaper mailed to your new destination. To do this, visit quailcreekcrossing.com, click on Contact, and then click on Change of Address. By remembering to do so, you will avoid drawing attention to your home by not having a newspaper sitting out until your return. Please note this is for the Quail Creek Crossing newspaper only, not your regular USPS mail.

No matter where you are, General Manager Updates, What’s Happening, Fresh from the Grill, and event emails will continue to reach you via email. If you are currently receiving the email updates, then no action is needed. If you are not receiving our updates and would like to, please contact Daryl Laux, webmaster, at [email protected].
