On Monday, October 21, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. the Photography Club of Quail Creek and the Quail Creek Education Committee are sponsoring a free presentation of the Borderlands Photographer Murray Bolesta.

Mr. Bolesta is an art and heritage photographer selling his fine wall art and other products to thousands of customers in southern Arizona and around the world since 2004. Living in Green Valley, Arizona, Murray believes photographers and other artists have an obligation to activism with their work. Mr. Bolesta joins the struggle to preserve natural, rural and cultural heritage with his images and related activities. Murray has written The Borderlands Photographer in the Tubac Villager monthly newspaper since 2007 and is a former gallery owner in Tubac. Now Murray is gradually building a global internet market for his art prints. Philosophically, he aspires to the ancient Greek ideal of Cynicism: virtue, purpose, harmony with nature and a contempt for self indulgent leisure.

Murray will speak about his work in the borderlands and discuss several selected images accompanied by a slide show. He’ll expect spirited interaction from the audience! Come and experience this rare free opportunity to be inspired by this photographer who specializes in our unique area of the world, the Sonoran Desert and its borderlands. For more information on Murray Bolesta and his photography, go to cactushuggers.com.

This free presentation of Murray Bolesta and his Borderlands photography, will take place on Monday, October 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Crystal Ballroom at the Quail Creek Madera Clubhouse. All residents of Quail Creek and surrounding communities are invited to attend.
