Come “Sit” with Us

Linda Kline

The Quail Creek Meditation Community would like to wish all a Happy New Year and a welcome back to our seasonal visitors. We invite everyone, beginners as well as experienced practitioners to our group. Our purpose is to provide a place for a weekly time of quiet stillness for group meditation, personal reflection, and a sharing of our knowledge.

Why meditate? Meditation is more than just a stress reducer! Scientific studies are proving it’s good for our bodies, not just our minds. It can make you healthier, calmer, and more immune to stressors in our lives.

Meditating alone provides deep relaxation, peace of mind and contentment. Sitting together with like-minded people offers support to each of us in our own individual practice. Meditating in a group expands the energy field beyond self, throughout all present.

Beginning in January, we will listen and meditate with Jack Kornfield’s Guided Meditation, “Six Essential Practices to Cultivate Love, Awareness and Wisdom” followed by a period of silence.

Come practice with us every Monday at 4:30 p.m. in the Ocotillo Room in Kino Conference Center. We request that participants arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior, to get comfortable. The sessions are free and no special clothing or equipment is required. Chairs will be provided and you may bring your own cushion or blanket for your comfort.

If we have your email on file, we will send a reminder on Sunday along with the topic of the day.

Thank you for your interest and participation. For more information, please call or email Linda Kline, 440-479-2540, [email protected].
