The Touched By Cancer Support Group will not be meeting the months of June, July, August and September due to lower attendance during the summer months. The October meeting and future meetings will be held in the Gold Room on the second Monday of the month from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The Quail Creek Fights Back Relay For Life Team thanks Quail Creek residents for generously supporting the team in the garage sale, The Women of Quail Creek luncheon/style show and the Relay Golf Tournament at Desert Hills. The team raised $12,700 of the $84,000 raised by the Green Valley/Sahuarita Relay teams to help the American Cancer Society fund cancer research and patient programs.
Road to Recovery drivers are still needed to drive cancer patients to and from treatments. Drivers will be certified by the American Cancer Society. Contact Terrie O’Dierno at [email protected] or call 648-7192 for more information about being a certified Road to Recovery driver.

Thirty percent of the sale of each bracelet helps the American Cancer Society fund cancer research and patient programs.
A Relay For Life garage sale is being planned for November. The 2013 sale raised $3,000 for cancer research. Please save saleable items for the 2014 garage sale. Items for the sale may be delivered around the second week in November.
