Madera Canyon is one of the most legendary birding locations in the entire U.S. Birders from around the world flock to Madera, lured by the chance to glimpse birds that are rarely found north of the Mexican border such as the Elegant Trogon, Blue-throated and Magnificent Hummingbirds, Whiskered Screech-Owl, Red-faced Warbler and Varied Bunting to name a few. Join Environmental Educator Jeff Babson for a look at these and other birds of Madera Canyon, a birding hotspot right in your backyard, on Monday, March 2 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Quail Creek Clubhouse Ballroom. Tickets are $10 and available at the Quail Creek Concierge Desk, Meredith’s Hallmark Store and Green Valley/Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce.
