Madera Canyon, in the scenic Santa Rita Mountains, is one of the best-known birding spots in all of North America. What brings people from all over the world to this place? The wide range of habitats in the canyon each has their own group of birds. In addition, several spectacular species from Mexico breed in Madera Canyon, giving the place a distinct tropical feel. Join us for a look at this legendary birding location.

I own Sky Island Tours, an environmental education and eco-tour company. I offer classes and presentations on a wide-range of topics including birds, butterflies, dragonflies, moths, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and plants. I also offer birding tours, as well as tours for butterflies and dragonflies.
