The Women of Quail Creek will hold their annual Membership Brunch on Monday, October 30 in the Madera Clubhouse Ballroom. The brunch provides an annual opportunity not only to celebrate the friendships forged among members but also to recognize many of the projects TWOQC has supported throughout the year. Included in the proceedings will be information about the slate of officers presented by the nominating committee for 2018.

Entertainment will be provided by the Big Band Sounds of Green Valley. The Big Band follows in the tradition of Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw and many others so popular during a special musical era. They play big band jazz and have a repertoire of standards from the 40s to the present. A big band sound is characterized by an ensemble of five saxes, five trumpets, four trombones and a rhythm section of piano, bass, guitar and drums.

Given the proximity to Halloween, those attending the Halloween themed brunch will enjoy a menu of egg salad filled croissant, melon salad and an apple crumb cupcake with goblin glaze. The special drink will be a Black Russian with spider on the side. Tables will be festively decorated with centerpieces available for raffle. Members attending are encouraged to wear costumes or to dress in orange and black.

The brunch begins at 11:00 a.m. Tickets are $10 for TWOQC members and $20 for one-time guests. To purchase tickets contact Nancy at [email protected].
