The final Quail Creek Ballroom Dance Club dinner dance is scheduled in the Crystal Ballroom at the Madera Clubhouse on Wednesday, March 15. Due to declining membership, after 12 years of providing Quail Creek residents with a formal partying experience, the Ballroom Dance Club will be disbanding after this season.

In March members and guests will travel to Guadalajara, Mexico to experience the traditional Mexican cuisine of the La Tequila Cocina Restaurant.

Dance to the music of our wonderful local Green Valley Stage Band; it is the second time this band has played for a ballroom dance at Quail Creek and they were enthusiastically received the last time they were here.

Dancing starts at 5:30 with dinner at 6:30 p.m. The meal begins with a spinach hibiscus flower salad with roasted shitake mushrooms. Menu choices include marinated swordfish or rack of lamb with a delicious pecan flan for dessert. The band returns after dinner to play their dance selections until 9:30 p.m.

We are extending an invitation to our former members to attend the final dance. This will also be the last opportunity for other residents who have never been to a Ballroom Dance Club function to enjoy an elegant evening of dining and dancing with the club.

Please contact Justine Lewis at 399-4646 or [email protected] for reservations by March 8. For more information about the club, visit our website at http://quailcreekballroomdance.com.
