The ballroom was festively decorated for A Wee Bit of Ireland, the theme of TWOQC summer luncheon held on June 24 at the Madera Clubhouse.

Members and guests enjoyed a delicious lunch and then were entertained by Irish step dancing students who attend the Tir Conaill Academy of Irish Dance in Tucson.

The Irish themed centerpieces at each table were presented as door prizes to a lucky lady at each table whose birthday is closest to March 17, St. Patrick’s Day.

The youngest student dancer, Olivia, charmed the audience wearing her traditional costume and dancing her new solo steps. The more advanced students also dressed in traditional costumes and performed some of their competition dances. Many of them will soon be competing in championships at national and world competitions.
