Thank you, Quail Creek, for the many donations of garage sale items, raffle donations, sponsorships and hours of time and talent to support the Quail Creek Fights Back Relay For Life team in their goal to fund cancer research and patient programs through the American Cancer Society. So far in 2017 the team has raised $22,000 with the possibility of more to come in before the August 31 year end.
Locally, six research grants were issued to the University of Arizona and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, Phoenix in the amount of $5,249,000 in 2016. Through Quail Creek’s generous donations last year, the 2016 Quail Creek team raised $20,000 towards those research dollars.
