Our volunteers are gearing up once again to prepare for the annual Rally for the Cure golf event on Thursday, October 17.

“Hana Pu” is this year’s theme which is Hawaiian for working together, and these gals are working together to create a fun and meaningful day! The day is meant to raise money for a cure and raise awareness of breast cancer and breast health in conjunction with the Susan G. Komen foundation.

Signups can be found in the Pro Shop. The 18 and 9 hole women’s golf organizations are offering a 9 hole fun golf event, an 18 hole four member team golf competition and a luncheon and raffle for all residents of Quail Creek; all golfing is cart path only. All participants are encouraged to dress in Hawaiian attire.

Survivors of cancer will be honored during the luncheon program. There is also an opportunity to sponsor a hole on the golf course in honor of a survivor or loved one.

It will be a wonderful day for a wonderful cause; come check it out!
