The Women of Quail Creek will meet on July 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Crystal Ballroom of the Madera Clubhouse. Randy Wade, owner/manager of Tumacookery in Tubac, will be the guest speaker.

Randy’s program, Yum Yum Kitchen Fun, will focus on using new food preparation tools and products to make time spent in the kitchen both fun and easy. During a cooking demonstration, Randy will prepare a dessert similar to bananas foster called Caribbean Treat for all attendees to taste. At the end of the meeting there will be a drawing for door prizes of items from Tumacookery.

Randy has a long and interesting background in the culinary arts. He enjoys cooking, loves to eat and delights in finding and selling just the right tool for specific kitchen tasks. Anyone who has visited the store knows that it is one of the shopping treasures in Tubac.

All members and their guests who have not previously attended a TWOQC function and Quail Creek women interested in joining the club are invited to attend.

Donations for the August 9 baby shower for military families can be brought to the meeting. Attendees can preorder A Shared Table cookbooks for $14 each or buy ten, get one free. Checks should be made payable to TWOQC Charity Account. The price of the cookbooks will go up on August 1.
