A “Getting Holiday Ready”-themed night out for members of The Women of Quail Creek had something for everyone: holiday table décor and napkin folding ideas, how to wrap gorgeous gifts using fantastic bows, how to tie your favorite scarf in new and interesting ways for holiday parties and demos of cookie decorating and fun holiday drinks with names like, “Nosy Relatives” and “Braving the Mall.” Members sipped wine or beer and munched on Chef Aris’ passed appetizers including “Thanksgiving in a cup” with turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and gravy. For some lucky winners, all the holiday hoopla was followed by a relaxing chair massage, mini-facial or nail color change offered by beauty technicians from Modern Beauty Bar of Green Valley.

This was the first time TWOQC offered this type of program, with the ballroom set up in an informal “mix and mingle” style and from all accounts it was a hit.

“The Women of Quail Creek Programs committee wanted to try something new this month and although this was a lot of work, we feel it was worth it,” said Diane Quinn, Programs Committee Chair. “We have so much talent, both within our club and in our Quail Creek community, this seemed like a fun way to kick off the holiday season.”

Huzzahs to Chef Aris, Grace, Julieta, Courtney and the entire Madera Banquets team for their wonderful food and spirits creations and a round of applause to Modern Beauty Bar for providing an oasis of relaxation for dozens of our members.
