Monday evening, April 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Crystal Ballroom, The Tucson Prunes will perform a lively, fun filled musical comedy review at the general monthly meeting of The Women of Quail Creek. Route 66 will be the theme for the show. Routines will be based on traveling the highway, starting on the west coast and visiting various locations along the way, and end with a military tribute. The Prunes, singers, tap dancers and even an occasional comic or two, are all over fifty and have performed at civil, charitable and private functions throughout southern Arizona. These talented, physically active and mentally sharp ladies love to entertain and love the smiles and enjoyment audiences get from their shows.

Members are asked to bring donations for the Green Valley Food Bank; food, cleaning, supplies, paper goods, and hygiene products are needed. Cash and check donations are also greatly appreciated. Any donations of food or cash before the end of April will be eligible for a partial match by the Feinstein Foundation. Every dollar donated equals four meals.

All members, women guests in Quail Creek interested in joining that have not previously attended a TWOQC function are invited to attend. For further information contact Peggy McGee at [email protected], 207-6188 or Janice Pell at [email protected], 867-6262.
