Oh, what a night it was! The PAG sponsored All Quail Creek Residents’ Talent Show was a crazy success. The doors opened at 6:00 p.m., and the crowd never stopped flowing. Ballroom management continued to add chairs in available spaces. They eventually had to turn people away at approximately 6:45 p.m. as we had reached allowable capacity! And the crowd was not disappointed!

This time there will be a minimal charge of $5 a person with assigned theater-style seating. Tickets will be sold outside The Grill every other Friday. Sales began on June 21 and will continue through August 16. There will also be a voluntary donation of either cash or non-perishable food items for the Sahuarita Food Bank at the door. The $5 might help keep us out of trouble with the fire marshal, and your contributions to the food bank always make a difference.

We’re hoping this can become an annual event. The level of untapped talent in Quail Creek and the interests of our residents in not only performing, but seeing their friends and neighbors perform, makes for a successful future.

Now’s your chance to share your talent and be part of this year’s show! Auditions are Friday, August 2, and Tuesday, August 6. Deadline to sign-up is Tuesday, July 30. We’re looking for musicians, dancers, vocalists, comedians, garage bands, trios, play or poem readers! If you’ve got a talent, you really should share it. If you’re interested, contact Emilie Ortega at [email protected] or 520-777-5078.

So, save the date: August 23, 2019, the Crystal Ballroom, 7:00 p.m.
