Did you recently move to Quail Creek and bring all your warm weather clothes with you? Have you held on to clothes thinking you might need them again and then realized that your lifestyle has changed? Did you receive a gift that simply isn’t you and you haven’t found a re-gifting opportunity yet?

The Women of Quail Creek have the answer! The annual clothing drive for homeless veterans will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016. Each year volunteers from TWOQC gather at the Madera Clubhouse to collect, sort and bag the thousands of items that are donated by the residents of Quail Creek and the greater Green Valley area. Carloads of items, including clothing, household items and bicycles are then delivered to the Southern Arizona Veterans Administration for distribution to homeless vets in this area.

Look for more information on this event in future Quail Creek Crossings. As you clear those closets, remember the vets and set clean, useable items aside for this very popular annual event.
