Quail Creek Women’s Bible study group lunches with Lilly Klepp

Kay Robinson

Lilly Klepp was a speaker at our March meeting. At a luncheon with Bible study ladies in November we received an update on her mission. Lilly and her husband Dennis founded Harvesters Reaching the Nations in the S Sudan. The Klepps have lived in S Sudan since the civil revolution. The progress that they have made since then is miraculous with the help of God. Two orphanages have been built and a hospital and schools were also built. Many children were orphaned at childbirth due to absence of care for the mothers. They bled to death. Now with the hospital, doctors, nurses and caring missionaries the people of S Sudan are learning how to make a better life for themselves. Often Lilly and Dennis are separated as one returns for health reasons or to fund raise and speak at various churches. Lilly had malaria 13 times. To make a donation to Celebration Fund for Christmas gifts for the children, please go to HRTN.org and click on the Donate Now button or mail a check to Celebration Fund, 2001 W Plano Parkway., Suite 3432, Plano, Texas 75075. For $30.00 per month you can impact a child’s life: [email protected] or call 972-941-4460. Isaiah 58:6-8 describes Lilly’s mission. “To loosen the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and break every yoke. To divide your bread with the hungry, and bring the homeless poor into thy house; when you see the naked, cover him. Then your light will break out like the dawn.”
