The Quail Creek Lapidary and Jewelry Club members have been introduced to the art of Silversmithing. Nancy Riordon taught a three evening class during which participants learned to shape a Sterling Silver bezel around a Cabochon and add a bail to complete a unique pendant. Members are also learning to cut, polish and shape their own Cabochons from gemstones, petrified wood and quartz.
Other classes offered included bracelet making and Beaded Wire Pendants.
