The Ballroom Dance Club invites you to Be Our Guest at one of our upcoming events. Even if you’re not a member of the club you can join us to socialize with friends and neighbors, enjoy wonderful gourmet meals and listen to big band music in the Crystal Ballroom at the Madera Clubhouse for just $85 per couple.
The club’s Food and Beverage Chair Mary Lou Johnson has conferred with Director of Food and Beverage Aris Cabrera and Director of Banquets Epi Torres to provide meals from famous restaurants around the world. This year we look forward to dining experiences in Washington D.C., London, Cape Town and Tokyo.
Please join us on Wednesday, December 10 for our first dinner/dance of the year. In addition to celebrating the holiday season, the club will honor Quail Creek patriots who served in the armed forces. We will be dining at the Lincoln Memorial from which you can view the Korean War Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial and the WWII Memorial. What a wonderful way to spend a pre-Christmas evening with friends!
The Tom Patrick Band will begin playing at 5:30 p.m. for an hour until a delectable dinner is served for our enjoyment. Our meal will be a catered affair highlighting the talents of our Chef and his staff. The meal begins with a watercress salad followed by a choice of shrimp stuffed cannelloni or mint crusted lamb chops. We wrap up with a berry tart with star anise for dessert. This is definitely not a standard banquet meal. The band returns after dinner to play their wonderful dance selections for our members and guests until 9:30 p.m.
