The Photo Club of Quail Creek has a field trip for its members every month, excluding the very hot summer months. In March we visited Sabino Canyon. The sun was bright and trees and flowers were in bloom.

Sabino Canyon is a natural desert oasis located in Tucson’s Coronado National Forest and is home to beautiful desert and mountainous landscapes and wildlife. During the winter and summer rainy seasons, pools of water can be found in rocky outcroppings among the hillsides. The wonders of the desert foothills and rocky gorges of the Santa Catalina Mountains are marvelous and accessible. The club members took the tram up the canyon and walked backed down the paved road, stopping along the way to capture the beauty of the canyon.

The Photography Club of Quail Creek has numerous activities for its members. Consult the club’s constantly updated website http://www.pcqc.org as well as the weekday HOA What’s Happening for additional information.
