This is a new series of photography video courses created by The Great Courses series and will commence Thursday, January 8 at the Madera Clubhouse in the Crystal Ballroom at 6:30 p.m. Two units will be presented in January: Adventure with Corey Richards and Stephen Alvarez as master photographers and Wildlife with Steve Winter and Joel Sartore as master photographers

Viewers will be given access to the creative process of 12 top National Geographic photographers that will be a visually stunning and one of a kind instructional series that should change the way you approach photography either using a DSLR camera, a point-and-shoot camera or an iPhone camera. Anticipate each unit to last 90 minutes.

Future units in February will be Landscape and Nature and People in Their Environments and in March, Color and Light and Storytelling. Sessions will be Thursday evenings at the Madera Clubhouse. The room will vary. Announcements will be made through the Extra and the weekday What’s Happening.
