Quail Creek Country Club’s New Year’s Eve Party, The Time of your Life, will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013, with cocktails and appetizers at 7:00 p.m. followed by a five course dinner at 8:00 p.m. Dancing and live music will be provided by Heartbeat; dress code is evening attire. Tickets are $75.00 at the Concierge or call 393-5822. Complimentary party favors and a champagne toast will be at 12:00 midnight.
The first course will be passed assorted hors d’oeuvres; second course is seared scallops over purple sticky rice finished with truffle and corn cream reduction; third course will be cucumber wrapped organic greens, razzcherries, toasted pistachio dust, Granny Smith apples, pecorino cheese and red cabbage slaw; fourth course is a duet—you may choose lamb and halibut or beef and chicken. The lamb and halibut is Moroccan spiced rack of lamb served over wild mushroom risotto with zinfandel demi glaze and seared halibut with tomato and fennel relish and parsnip chips. The beef and chicken will be Moroccan spiced beef tenderloin served over wild mushroom risotto with zinfandel demi glaze and grilled chicken with tomato and fennel relish and parsnip chips. The fifth course is flourless chocolate cake with espresso chocolate mousse.
