Magazines in the library at Madera Clubhouse

Larry Thomson

The Quail Creek Clubhouse Library has a good selection of recent magazines. They are on racks in the rear of the library sorted by general categories. All magazines are from donations so please keep bringing them in to share. Donations can be shelved directly, placed in the donation box in the hall or left on one of the return carts.

There is no checkout system. Users are encouraged to return magazines promptly so others can also read them.

The magazines are screened each week and the outdated ones are taken to the Green Valley Library where they are sold to benefit the Friends of the Library. The funds received are used for scholarships for library students and staff. Occasionally some magazines are taken to the White Elephant. While actual counts are not maintained, it is estimated that over 1000 magazines are taken to the Green Valley Library or White Elephant each year.
