Lady Putters plan special events

To add variety to their weekly putting sessions, the Lady Putters occasionally invite other golf groups to join them, even members of the opposite sex.

On August 15, the Duffers will join the Putters for 18 holes of putting followed by a continental breakfast. On October 17, the annual Battle of the Sexes will take place. Members and their spouse/significant other or just a male neighbor will compete to see who this year’s victor will be. The men have won for the past five years in a row so the ladies are really practicing hard this year.

On November 1, the Putters will join the other two women’s golf groups at Quail Creek at their annual event to raise funds for local charities.

Ending up the special events for 2018, the Putters will welcome the SaddleBrooke Ranch Putters on November 14 for a friendly competition followed by a buffet lunch.

For details and sign-up information for all these events, please visit the website quailcreekputters.com. Membership in Putters is opened to all Quail Creek females, both owners and renters. No sign-up required, just show up on the back patio of the Clubhouse between 8:00 and 8:15 every Wednesday. Annual dues are $15 and weekly green fees are $1.
