The Green Valley Chapter Military Officers Association sends its sincere appreciation to all the residents who supported their nonperishable foods collection, 50-50 raffle, and who made monetary donations to their annual 4th of July Food for the Troops collection. Grocery items totaled approximately 140 pounds and there was $1,040 donated in cash and checks.
The lucky winner of the 50-50 raffle was Steve Rose who generously donated his winnings to the Food for the Troops fund.
