Just a few days remain before The Women of Quail Creek’s annual baby shower for members of the Tucson National Guard. Twenty-one girls and eight boys either have been or are expected to be born to the military families. Many of the mothers have been dubbed “Military Moms” because of the double duty they are pulling as both new mother and active military.

Volunteers have been hard at work, sewing, knitting, crocheting or shopping for the shower that will take place on Saturday, June 25. The friendly competition between units within Quail Creek has been a big success with units donating everything from cash to clothing and diapers.

Keep watching future issues of the Quail Creek Crossing for pictures of the joyous event. For more information feel free to contact Pam Rodgers, committee chairperson, at 520-561-7969 or email her at [email protected].
