The Crystal Ballroom in Madera Clubhouse has a good T shaped hardwood dance floor which is perfect for dances that move us around the room. Utilizing this space, the Ballroom Dance Club has sponsored dance classes for several years. These classes are open to any Quail Creek residents who might like to improve their dance skills or try new dance moves under excellent professional teachers. This fall all the classes will be taught by Louis Rojo.
The classes are arranged in a series of four sessions and the dates for these classes held in the ballroom setting are Thursdays, October 24 and November 7, 14 and 21.
From 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. each Thursday, Louis will teach beginning Cha-Cha. From 5:40 to 6:40 p.m. Louis will teach Advanced Beginning East Coast Swing and from 6:50 to 7:50 p.m. Louis will teach Advanced Beginning American Tango.
Advanced Beginning classes are for those who have some knowledge of the basic steps and this class will build on those basics.
Class fees are $80.00 per couple for each four week session. A nonrefundable deposit of $40.00 is required to hold a space in each class. If the class doesn’t go, this deposit will be refunded. Final payment is due the first day of class and checks should be made out to Louis Rojo.
