The Quail Creek Lady Putters will be holding a Christmas-in-July food collection for the Green Valley/Sahuarita Food Bank on Wednesday, July 9. Members are asked to bring donations of groceries, paper products, cleaning and hygiene items. Especially needed food items include peanut butter, canned tuna and chicken, baking products, salad dressing and condiments. Cash, checks made payable to the GV Food Bank and credit card donations would be much appreciated, too. Members who cannot attend Putters that morning may drop donations off at Peggy McGee’s house, 1908 E. Longspur Place at any time.
