On December 10 the QC Ballroom Dance Club members and guests enjoyed the first of four dinner/dances in the Crystal Ballroom at the Madera Clubhouse. We honored Quail Creek patriots who served in the armed forces by celebrating at the Lincoln Memorial where visitors can see the Korean War Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial and the WWII Memorial. The meal was a catered affair of shrimp-stuffed cannelloni and mint-crusted lamb chops that highlighted the talents of Chef Cabrera and his staff. Our band for the evening was the Tom Patrick Band.

We will be welcoming guests to our next dinner/dance on Wednesday, January 21. Club members will dine at Apsleys Restaurant in London, England, experiencing outstanding Mediterranean-inspired cuisine of swordfish or beef medallions while enjoying the big-band sounds of the Lonny Lynn Orchestra.

The Ballroom Dance Club has three and four-dance memberships available, and non-member guests are always welcome to attend the dinner/dances. To find out membership or guest details, please contact Justine Lewis at 399-4646 or [email protected]. For more information about the club visit the website at http://quailcreekballroomdance.com.
